What is really banned is depiction of non-consent.
CNC (consensual non-consent aka roleplay) is also banned on many adult sites nowadays, exactly because it's considered radioactive material and an easy target for prudes, as few would risk sticking up for it.

Do fictional bad guys consent to being killed? Do consenting character consent to be depicted consenting?
As the writer of a story, all characters depicted are technically part of my own psyche, thus my consent is their consent, as they're expression of my self and no one else's. �
