I was working on designing a plushie of Tala but lost momentum when I had to move house. I think I'd worked out the whole body and face, but I got a bit stymied trying to figure out how the tail comes out of the dungarees 😂 Maybe I'll work out the rest someday.

The Department of Homeland Security and ICE like to claim they're keeping this country safe when in reality they are terrorizing it.
I made them a new seal to reflect that, using their own brand elements

I'm 100% convinced these weird messages from government agencies assigning blame for the shutdown are going to backfire. They feel way too aggressive to be read as anything other than the manipulative smear campaign they are.

The lace pattern is much more visible in the blocking picture, but the colors looked weird every time I photographed it indoors

Now that it's gone to its recipient I get to brag about this elegant shawl I crocheted out of baby alpaca, silk, and camel yarn. The contrast stripes are little cats in a row, and I had to figure out how to adapt a well -known stitch pattern to work upside down

If this author is blaming past DV on hip-hop music, he's almost certainly still an abuser (and we shouldn't listen to any of his opinions). Lundy Bancroft talks about how the abusers he counseled who continued to blame their abuse on external influences never made real change.
