Of course, they're not going to be equally as useful for everything, but in my field (cyber security) they are a massive force multiplier and someone not taking advantage will be left behind.

And in a huge number of cases, it is.

AI models can be prompted in such a way as to provide more factual, more creative, or even completely fabricated answers.

That doesn't even go into the many different "flavors" of AI models, each of which excel at something different.

They (minors) WANT to be there, despite the harm it does.

We already restrict their access to harmful or addictive substances/websites.

Social media somehow seems immune to consequences, despite providing and promoting a harmful, addictive product.

Saying "just don't do it" misses the point.
