Best skies of 2025 Pt 1
Manhattan skyline under grey cotton candy clouds. Jan 1, 2025. A foreboding vibe. Thickly clouded sky with the setting sun breaking through, adding golden tones. This imagery is even more striking with the industrial contrast of a factory? refinery? comprised of metal bars, towers and platforms directly beside interstate 95 and set in front of the disappearing sun. A view of 95S with a heavy blanket of clouds on the horizon. Overhead the clouds are more sparse, adding much depth to the scene. These clouds are rich and vibrant, catching the sunlight freed from the blanket to the West. You can see that the sky is on fire as the sun disappears in the distance. Further down the highway the clouds turn to feathers as we pass under the distinct blanket above. A dagger of golden light pierces the horizon.
