The recent cold weather and brief snow flurries here in NYC pulled up a funny memory from my time in South Florida (and believe me there is nothing funny about the South - ever!) EXCEPT:

Just a note: starting today and for as long as it takes, Food Bank for New York City will be here to support all government workers in need. We have a network of nearly 800 food pantries, soup kitchens, and mobile pantries distributed across all five boroughs to serve New Yorkers.
