As you make your way through the levels and defeat the Prime-8 you eventually find there is a mastermind to all of this, a being that is neither human, nor primate, the Dark Neanderthal a being who was freed from a block of ice by spector but tossed aside for being "too dumb"

as you progress you will run into the rest of the ape escape crew including everyone we saw before as well as the freaky monkey five who now find themselves unemployed. each of them when found will help the player by upgrading a gacha gear that you already have, (and probably used to save them)

the levels would be based on certain parts of the internet but like in a fun whimsical way and not a horrible depressing way. a level thats a art gallery filled with fan art both good and bad, a travel website that changes environments on the fly, a streaming site that plays ape escape 3 movies. ect

the game would be your normal ape escape affair as you jump from world to world catching monkeys with a variety of gacha gear. but now on top of the normal pipo monkeys there are now other stronger primates all with their own little gimmicks.

In come your character who you make with some basic customization as you are woken up by a strange email. When you open it you are greeted to Casi who says you are the only person who her calculation says can save everyone and she begs you to help save everyone, even Spector

there is a massive flash of light as the Prime-8 have double crossed Spector and catch all 4 monkey catchers, Spector, and even the likes of the professor and his students in a massive Digitalization beam, that warps all of them into cyber space!
