Serrated Scorpion. My favorite jank standard deck was essentially “how many times can I sacrifice this bug”. Just a boatload of Village Rites effects and recursion. Maybe not the best commander to lead that deck, but a good option

There’s not nearly as much Necro on the ladder, so it’s not as dramatic. But Game 1s do tend to be won or lost by what deck you pair into

I play it in my Grixis Walls deck. It can fetch Blasphemous Act and Rise of the Dark Realms. Or Profane Transfusion

I built a Grixis Walls deck just to see if i could. Couldn’t quite make it all the way on theme, but what I ended up with became one of my favorites. “Search for any number of cards with cmc 9” is glorious card text

But a hybrid rule change would allow Lurrus to companion with ~200 decks as opposed to the ~25 it currently can.
I feel that’s a positive. The restriction is real in Commander, unlike most formats. It’s interesting
