I'm curious why they're using the current NYC-CHI route which goes hundreds of miles out of the way instead of building a more direct route which would roughly parallel I-80.

It certainly was up until the mid-'70s when Schulz ran out of ideas. (Do you remember how many "dumb Peppermint Patty" strips ran during the '80s?)

I was scheduled to see seven shows in September. One (X with Los Lobos) was cancelled, and two (The Baseball Project with The Minus Five and James McMurtry) I missed because of my brother's sudden, unexpected death. I've been to two shows this month with one more on Sunday.

They were granted their own town about 6 years ago. Not that there aren't plenty of Haredi living in Monroe, but they're no longer a majority for now.
