I noticed several blackbirds feeding in a rowan tree. Loads of red berries and smart blackbirds looked like an illustration in a Ladybird book of What To See In Autumn.

First bird of my day: a magpie on the tray of calciworms. It fled as soon as I looked, looking forward to gaining trust as I put feed out every day in my little garden.
