Visiting my the Mecca this week…LOUISVILLE! Visited a new place called #WhiskeyThiefDistillery - a single barrel, barrel strength purveyor near downtown Louisville. You’ll thief your tastings from the barrel. You can bottle your own from the same barrel as well. Highly recommend a visit!

Has anyone tried the Old Forester 1924 yet? Old Forester says it’s a 2nd year release w/ 79% corn, 11% rye & 10% malted barley rather than traditional Old Forester 72% corn, 18% rye & 10% malted barley. Notes of chocolate, graham cracker, & cinnamon & aroma's of cocoa, tobacco, & oak. Jan 7/$119.99.

Jefferson’s Reserve Twin Oak is a great bourbon! (As are all of Jefferson’s creations.) My 🎄 cocktail creation tonight is a Bourbon Cranberry Old Fashioned. The bourbon soaked cranberries are a real treat. Is this a drink or dessert? Both! #bourbonlife #holidaybouron #bourboncocktail #bourbondessert

Jefferson’s Reserve Twin Oak is a great bourbon! (As are all of Jefferson’s creations.) My 🎄 cocktail creation tonight is a Bourbon Cranberry Old Fashioned. The bourbon soaked cranberries are a real treat. Is this a drink or dessert? Both! #bourbonlife #holidaybouron #bourboncocktail #bourbondessert

UP Michigan, below zero & visit The Honorable Distillery to try their OPW (Other People’s Whiskey) tried bourbon, rye, gin & coffee liqueur. Left with coffee liqueur. Bourbon is young, & sadly, not impressive. The nose is off; finish is alcohol forward. Love to support local, but this needs time.

Highly recommend bourbon cream. #CaskStrength #babybarrelbourbon 😋 Do $10 tour w/barrel prog 4 special occasion/gift! But you have to stay alive for 5 yrs to reap rewards! #bourbonlife
