Thank goodness: after an outpouring of public dissent, Lackland reversed its terrible decision and will thankfully be teaching recruits about the Tuskegee airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots again. A reminder that we must always push back: www.expressnews.com/news/article...
Air Force says new recruits will again learn about Tuskegee Airmen
The head of the service's San Antonio-based training command said a video about the pioneering Black aviators would remain in the basic training curriculum.

January 26th is not a day of celebration for Australian Indigenous communities; it marks the beginning of immense loss and trauma.

When I told a dear friend that I was starting a newsletter to explain that politicians were decimating the NHS and explain properly what was happening so people understood, he said “why would anyone want to read you writing about that”.

This is such a good thing to do.

Again, it is not the big corps and billionaires making a difference in people's lives - it's one person here, another person there, doing practical things from the ground up.

You can financially support this excellent work here: tinytinyhomes.ca/get-involved/
i don't have a joke here, i just think it's rad as hell that this guy is making tiny tiny homes that are attached to bikes for people experiencing homelessness in toronto

Don’t like providing healthcare that covers abortion and gender affirming care, then don’t follow me. Keep politics out of healthcare and put people first.

An “appliance” broke yesterday. The part that broke was more expensive to buy than a whole new object. Make it make sense. We bought a new one and now will use the old as spare parts but what the heck!!!
