I had a professor who mentioned that she looked at her students resumes to become aware of opportunities for her children. I, characteristically Gen Z and sloppy with my speech said something like "that's an elite hack" to which she responded that yes, it is characteristic of the elite.

www.brandeis.edu/now/2018/sep... 85% sure this is the Elias Rosenfeld from the article. Wildly interesting how he's narrating his life and experience then vs. now.

Elias Rosenfeld ’20 just wants to have the same worries as most college students. Worries about exams, papers and projects.

www.jta.org/2017/09/06/u... Rosenfeld seems interesting. Seems like he's eager to speak the vernacular of the day (in 2017, anti-trump. Now, techy "dynamism"). Is it self-preservation? Is he now naturalized and looking to be "one of the good ones"

^ Agreed, and I do think it's interesting what ppl do with that realization and how people narrate it publicly (if they do).

how much of this do you think you could have done differently if someone had explained it to you? (versus this being the sorta thing where you just had to screw it up a bit in order for any advice to make sense to you)
