Think my avocado grafts are gonna take this season. I got Aravaipa and Mexicola pushing on this rootstock I grew from seed. The former is supposed to be the hardiest variety known. Got lots of other grafts pushing too on my persimmons, pear, and apple trees.

A quick two day, ~400km tour over the warm spell. Always a blast to ride my bike to the coast. I loved seeing all the waterfalls you normally miss zipping past in a car.

Westside Wednesday Ride celebrated its 100th ride last night. This group ride got me back in the saddle after the covid slump, and without it I'd probably have never toured Taiwan or California.

No fish, but was still able to get a catch and cook going. I got some whelks, mussels, and crabs.

Another big bike day yesterday. Portland to Silver Falls ~200km loop. Really fun mix of people, pavement, and gravel.

Test ride for the upcoming mixed bag Oregon Randoneers event. Rode all but the last 10km of the 200km route. I felt pretty strong at the end, tempted to do the whole 300km in March.

Building up my first homelab from an old 7060 w/ a 8th gen i7. Got some used enterprise SSDs in the mail. I'm probably gonna throw some more ram in there to get to 64gb.
Plan is to get this running on Proxmox, containerize Jellyfin, and run some VMs, then build up a NAS and cluster a few machines.

Building up my first homelab from an old 7060 w/ a 8th gen i7. Got some used enterprise SSDs in the mail. I'm probably gonna throw some more ram in there to get to 64gb.
Plan is to get this running on Proxmox, containerize Jellyfin, and run some VMs, then build up a NAS and cluster a few machines.
