I’ll name it now that I spend $15k and a new wave of infestation just started. It is Ann Taylor/Loft. They refuse to help and my entire home and life have been destroyed.

I will not post the pictures and gross you out, but I want to warn you all that Ann Taylor/LOFT has a moth infestation and they will happily send you clothing with eggs and larvae to you. Buyer beware.

There seems to be no end in sight. My home is no longer a safe space for me. In the end, it feels like the victim is the one who gets screwed the most.

I’m not sure where I’ll end up, but I can honestly say that this experience has been more traumatic and life-altering than when I had breast cancer.

If you take away anything from this experience, please make sure to inspect every item of clothing you purchase in a store or online before bringing it into your home. Even better, consider putting it in your freezer for at least 72 hours before you touch it again.

I have lost most of my belongings, including items that have been in my family for decades and come from family members who are no longer here. I will likely have to foreclose on my condo and declare bankruptcy, all while I am about to start a new job. I have no clothes to wear.

While this can happen with any company, I assure you that when it comes to Ann Taylor/LOFT, they will watch your entire life fall apart yet still email you a birthday coupon. The audacity!

I have been constantly harassed and fought against by them and their insurance company. I need to consult with an attorney to see if there's anything I can do at this point. Unfortunately, I can't afford one, but I would appreciate the opportunity to ask a simple question.

Tomorrow, the last of my furniture/ rugs will be removed and thrown away. After my stay at the hotel, I have no safe place to go. My entire life has been upended over a pair of ugly pants I didn't even keep. Ann Taylor/LOFT is responsible for this devastation, yet they refuse to take accountability.
