This past Saturday, our group, HMS PSYCHE, took the longboat out for a sail down the Nottawasaga River. Not a sail actually; we rowed all the way.. It worked out to about four hours. The skies were clear, the temperature was about 13 degrees, and the winds were light. It was great day.

Brought Firefly, my boat, back home yesterday. Some winter storage damage but not anything too serious. She need a good cleaning though. And maybe an other coat of paint on the hull interior. And maybe...: and maybe...

I've started an other new business venture, this time making historical knit hats. They're mostly for re-enactors but good for regular life too.

This time, I'm working with my daughter, so it'll probably be more successful that my previous ventures.

One of the joys in my life is sailing. I'm lucky enough to have my own 14 footer and I also sail with the fine crew of HMS Psyche out of Mississauga.
