We said goodbye to our last dog yesterday. We had 3 dogs that we first got 17 years ago and I am just so heartbroken and our house is so quiet. We don’t deserve our pets 💔

C had her 1 year checkup today and failed her vision test. She’s been in early intervention since Oct for delayed gross motor. I’m so sad for our little 91st percentile chubby bubba love. Seeing a pediatric optometrist end of month and hoping this is all related and we get her some extra help.

S has the flu 2 weeks ago and we all avoided it by masking and this week separately R and C have both gone down 🫠 these long lasting crazy high fevers with it are crazy. Is it spring yet??

Spent the morning at Boston Children’s following up on S’ chronic kidney disease. Wow this appt hit me way harder than many before. The PTSD and sobering news of just how traumatic her birth was has shaken me to my core today

As hard as it was to wake up and get ready for work this morning I realized after dropping the girls off I am a creature of routine. I feel so much better about myself when I have one. It’s always been one of the silver linings for me after coming back from mat leave too

Parenting hack unlock. Did a peloton and then the girls joined me for a stretching class followed by a cardio dance class (for just them). They loved it!

I’m not a big resolutions person but I want to set some focus areas for myself this year. Increase my muscle mass (haven’t worked out in months), spend more time on my paddleboard, drink more water, try to find a new hobby that brings me joy

Post vacation our kids are now sleeping until 8am or later every day and it’s great but going to be a doozy on the other side
