I was in need of some uplifting material as I attempt to finish my final semester of grad school. Tiny Pep Talks is a collection of essays that are meant to encourage the reader if they find themselves in various situations. Overall, I enjoyed its humor & it was sweet.

This graphic novel was an easy read. Whether it’s a platonic or romantic break up, the content within these pages will allow any struggling reader to find some comfort. Overall, only time can really help but this title offers little things a person can do to make their situation easier to bear. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How To Let Things Go was a nice reminder that sometimes things aren’t that deep. This was a series of tips on how to center yourself. Granted, a lot of it is easier said than done, but I can think back on this the next time I’m caught up in my emotions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ #bookreview

“In winter, the wood is listening.” -Susanna Clarke, The Wood at Midwinter

I enjoyed the spooky vibes I got from this story. But I can’t help but feel like I was missing a key detail while I was reading it. Despite the confusion I felt, it was a fun read. ⭐️⭐️ #bookreview

I came across this sweet little free library while touring libraries last fall. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to see the inside of Bancroft Memorial Library, but this was an acceptable compromise. Hopefully, I’ll get to the next time I’m in the area!
