The Boston Bail Fund is a grassroots, community led organization committed to ending wealth based incarceration. We post bail for people who cannot afford it and work toward a future where pretrial detention is no longer determined by income.
For low-income individuals, even a small bail amount can be impossible to pay. Many families live paycheck to paycheck and cannot afford unexpected costs. When bail is set beyond their means, jail becomes unavoidable. #bailout #protesters
