First they came for the immigrants, and I spoke out, because I’ve read the damn poem before and I know how it ends.

It’s extremely jarring to see TikTok turn into what it’s now become as someone who’s been on there since it was music.ly what once was a refuge for many is now a wasteland of monetization and propaganda. And even before this recent era the introduction of the TikTok shop was really its downfall.

This app (so far) seems to be a pretty good place to be; on almost every other social media app these days you could comment such a simple thing and someone would fight with you about it in the comments :/ I guess that’s what the billionaires want though…. Whatever keeps engagement up
