Ok all these books are good but if you get the postcard book April is holding you'll have beautiful wall art that everyone compliments you on even if you're too lazy to make sure it's hanging straight

I've been making this chicken and gnocchi soup once a week, sometimes more than once. It's so good and it's a relatively accessible recipe with no chopping.
Chicken and gnocchi soup 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp oil 1 package chicken thighs 1 bag frozen mirepoix (or 1 bag carrots and 1 bag onions) 3 cartons chicken broth (full sodium) 3-4 bay leaves 2 packages gnocchi Salt (or celery salt) and pepper Heat butter and oil over medium high heat. Cut chicken into bite size chunks (I do this straight into the pan with scissors), season with salt and pepper and cook until the outside is cooked or browned (it's ok if you don't really get browning). Add mirepoix and cook until almost all of the water is gone and the vegetables look soft and jammy. Add chicken broth, pepper, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam, then reduce to a simmer for at least 25 minutes. Add the gnocchi, bring back to a boil, and cook until the gnocchi floats, then salt and pepper to taste! Mussolini was another star, a curiosity to be sure, but one with exceptional mass appeal. This thread got longer than I expected so I'll talk more about the invention of advertising and Mussolini's popularity in the next one I do. But there's little I can say that this image doesnt.
