My most recent completion not counting Liquid CrySHITal, honestly was a great overall experience. While I personally found it to be the most difficult of the Persona games I’ve played, the characters all having rather deep personalities and stories had me gripped to them the whole way.

Oh man. Baldur’s Gate 3. I could play this 50 times and have a different experience each time. Beyond a top 10 game for me at this point, it whole heartedly deserves every ounce of praise it gets, and even more. Larian made a masterpiece and continued cooking.

I have mixed feelings about Fire Emblem: Engage. Great gameplay and legendary classic characters, meet a somewhat underwhelming new cast and slow boiling and rather predictable story. While it’s nice that the characters aren’t smitten from the start with Alear, ala Corrin, paint drying is less dull.

Digimon: Survive is one of the most underrated games in the series, and it needs more attention. Visual Novel meets Tactics style combat in the Digimon world makes this game a wild ride from start to finish no matter which path you take.

Now for one of the highlights of this year so far for me, ANNO: MUTATIONEM. Beautiful cyberpunk meets Metroid-esque sidescroller, I loved every moment of this game.

Sand Land. Very fun game combat and exploration wise, was a bit dragged down by the extremely repetitive dialogue between Thief and Rao inside the tank. All in all, I’ll always love a Toriyama experience.

AEW: Fight Forever as the Hulkster. One of the few mostly makeable characters in the game made the experience slightly less miserable. Thanks for the memories brother.

Legitimately stupid funny game, actually a very competent shooter with fun mechanics. Despite not being a major Rick and Morty fan, I got into High on Life easy.

In a similar boat but one I might actually return to, Dark Duel Stories. Difficult as hell late game, and the random drops with low percentages make this one extremely tedious to master on RA. One day.
