Power To The Indies!
Today I Played: Saturnalia

Horror indie roguelite from 2023, play as four characters as they discover the secrets of Gravoi an ancient ritual and monster connected to the village, each time they all die the entire town changes layout, gameplay reminds me a lot of Siren. #indiegames

Today I Played: Hypogea

A unique indie that I REALLY wish I could discuss more without spoiling the ending, short and sweet but you play as an automaton trying to escape a mega-structure while dodging water.

The ending is sort of depressive but I really enjoyed it. #indiegames

MISERY!! It's back bay-bay!!!

Relisted and everything, GSC can suck one!

This game is truly unique and it's not marketed as a roguelite but you gotta experience it at least once to see what that means in this game. #indiegames #MISERY

MISERY on Steam
MISERY is a 1–5 player co-op survival game set in a nuclear disaster zone. Here, every day is a struggle: search radioactive ruins for resources, build your bunker, craft weapons, and explore a weird,...

Today I Played: Skyformer

Even if you're not the biggest fan of automation factory games, this one cuts down a ton of the tedium and has a lot of rather grandiose weather events that you'll have to monitor and prepare for while terraforming the planet. #indiegames #automationgame

Update On MISERY:
So things are getting spicy, as we just found out a GSC community mod/manger was someone causing a bunch of misinformation and fights in the MISERY forums.

Obviously we haven't seen the end of this, but how can GSC face no penalties here? #indiegames

Today I Played: Winter Burrow

This reminds me of a lot of literary properties I’ve read in the past like Mouse Guard, A Frog in the Fall, Wind in the Willows.

The characters are excellently written and the survival elements aren’t too harsh. I recommend! #indiegames #cozygames

Today I Played: Cthulhu's Reach - Devil Reef

If you're at all into roguelikes, dungeon crawlers, or Lovecraftian cosmic horror, this is an isometric action horror solo/co-op roguelike with a real retro aesthetic, definitely a pull from my pocket of obscurity. #indiegames #horror

Today I Played: Death Road to Canada

This zombie roguelike has been around forever, originally dropped in 2016 this game has seen new updates, NAY not just new maintenance updates but new FREE content since it dropped in 2016, guys this game is FUN and value. #indiegames #roguelike

Today I Played: Reentry - A Space Flight Simulator

Every button/switch/dial/gauge is interactable and has a purpose, this is an astronaut simulator where you will take on different campaigns and scenarios, experience space flight like never before. #indiegames #space #science

Update on the GSC (STALKER Dev), takedown of an indie game called MISERY.

I've reviewed their evidence and it would be absolutely criminal for GSC to get away with, they're trying to claim copyright on Eastern European buildings and depression soviet era atmosphere. #indiegames

Today I Played - Devil Jam

Something I love about Hades is that even when a game isn't directly related to the Hades playstyle, this case more of a V-survivor like, Hades has made a lot of indies up their game by adding voice acting, this blends both well enough. #indiegames

I'm in a tough spot on this one now, while I don't agree with the DMCA of Misery by GSC, I feel like they're only doing this cause it's a smaller team, it has come to my attention that the Misery dev employs someone or some 'people' that are pro Russian invasion, so... Damn. #indiegames

Today I Played: Skul - The Hero Slayer

One of my favorite rogue-lites of all time, this is one of those worlds where the heroes are the bad guy, you play as an unassuming skeleton that can swap his heads to play as tons of unique classes, 1000% recommend #indiegames #roguelite

Today I Played: Fatum Betula

Almost got a WTF did I just play? Instead, but this is an obtuse puzzle game that is both off-putting and nostalgic in a way I didn't think would resonate with me like it did, it involves a future seeing tree with 10 endings, Recommended! #indiegames

Today I Played: Flesh Made Fear

October may be over, but that won't slow me down from sharing more fixed camera angle horror games, this is another brand new one that wears its homages on their sleeve.

If you need that old school horror buzz, give this a try. #indiegames #horror

Today I Played: Echoes of the Living

Early access till 2026 (full release brings second campaign with it.)

I am loving and living for this resurgence of fixed camera angle horror games, this one is on the right track to being a solid homage to Resident Evil. #indiegames #horror

Today I Played: 1998 -The Toll Keeper Story

You play as Dewi, a pregnant woman amidst a nation crumbling with protests erupting, prices skyrocketing, trust in authority fading fast (sounds like the US), it plays a lot like Paper's Please & That's Not My Neighbor.

Today I Played: Magicraft

Do I think this indie needs help? Probably not.

But if you don't know about it you NEED to, this is literally a Binding of Isaac-like done right and on magic roids, see before you my army of cat turrets and Cthulhu Eye spiders.

Today I Played: Neon Inferno

It plays a lot like a Cyberpunk Sunset Riders, with the additional ability of being able to deflect shots, but the direct comparison is the ability to shoot into the foreground and background, it plays into this very heavily.

Today I Played: VOIN

I found myself brutally severing and smashing down the monsters that now pile before me, I happened upon a gothic church that would shelter me from the realistic booming thunder and rain, little did I know it would herald my end. #indiegames #VOIN #RPG

Today I Played: Eyes of Hellfire

You're in for a good time, if you got friends this does have a friends pass which I recommend they use, it's got a lot of that "you can't trust your own mind" going on like Dead Space 3 had, very solid and worth some sessions. #indiegames #horror

Today I Played (And Streamed): God Breakers

Part action, part roguelite & part bullet hell, this is an incredibly fun boss rush style game with a few mini-sections of trash mobs between you and the mini-boss/big boss, it's a hell of a lot of fun with friends or solo. #indiegames

Today I Played: Dreamed Away

Set in 90s France you play as Théo, gameplay is a little like Omori or Undertale this was an emotional tale that is a psychological horror, there is a twist at some point in the game and i'm not willing to spoil, but it is a heartbreaker. #indiegames

Today I Played: The Lonesome Guild

My first impression suggests the combat is just-okay and still subject to change as more systems are introduced.

But what it does have are beautiful vistas, charming characters, decent puzzles, and wonderful locales. #indiegames #arpg #indie

Games To Avoid - Double Dragon Revive

I swear to hell Yuke's game quality is all over the place and the fact that Arc System Works would put their name on this, it is straight up not good, the gameplay is bare bones and relies too heavily on gimmick spots, go buy DD: Gaiden instead. #AAGames
