If we’re not going to prioritise minutes for some of these younger players, we need to get them out on loan, as currently were stunting their development, which is shooting ourselves in the foot in the long term. Gray needs to hang around to be club trained - cynical, but realistic.

This was my thinking too. Where on earth were the defenders? Yes, he should've just booted it out, but the keeper should never be in that situation
