I like to use local 🐑, vintage or second hand items for my makes from the land of enchantment 🌞 Crochet, sewing, spinning, weaving

The newbies are integrating nicely.

It really is true. When you make for one the rest will request. This will be my 4th quilt this year. It’s never a burden for me, I love making for people ♥️ About 50% of this quilt was sourced local at estate sales or thrift stores.

There’s something so magical about hand spun. I use my leftover hand spun as ribbon for presents.

I was inspired by some fiber I saw online called sweater weather. I adapted a pattern I had previously used to accommodate chunky yarn. It came out just how I imagined ♥️

Trying to fan the Harry Potter love in this house. That series was such a big part of my childhood, I love seeing the next generation share in the magic.

Neutrals and beiges are en vogue right now. It’s not a fashion trend that speaks to me. I love bold hues, vibrant primary colors and variegated dyed pieces.

Oh man do I love handspun. Thinking this would make a lovely baby blanket. 🍂

This yarn is Merino and churro. I find blending churro with merino makes it next to skin palatable.

Babies getting their next upgrade! I love the gradual transition process of spring.

Lace weight projects are an absolute labor of love. But it will be a beautiful heirloom piece.

I love the look of after piling shaving. Picked this beautiful short sleeve yoke up for $.50 at an estate sale. Cleaned and shaved it. And just like that, what’s old is new again.

Cerulean plyed with natural white. Is there anything more beautiful.

I love the simplicity of spinning with white solids. It’s my favorite accent with a very saturated color braid. It gives the yarn a softer affect, while letting the bold color pop.

The Pecos. A national forest filled with old growth pine, alpine lakes and bugling elk, it’s my happy place.

This might be my favorite blend. I made this batt for myself but I have enough accent blending colors to share 🙂

Purchased this interesting fleece fabric at an estate sale. I think it’ll make a beautiful pullover?

I love farmlands. They literally built civilization. At the core of everything, we’re just another species trying to survive. We want abundant food to eat, fresh water to drink and clean air to breathe. I wish more people would fight for this basic amenable humanity need.

The Land of Enchantment. When I moved here, I planned to only stay two years then never come back. Thirteen years later I’m still here, I plan to have my last breath here.

I have been quite enchanted.

Made a new logo. I’m quite proud of this, I have hardly any experience with graphic arts.

I love seeding starting. The beautiful cycle of farm to table for my family. Soon the orchard will flower and I can provide my family with 85% of its nutrients from the confines of my Ranchito.

Blazing birches of northern New Mexico. Many don’t realize how forested this state is. The northern part of this state are where the Rockies begin. Our mountains are littered with birches and aspens.

Available in limited quantities.

Growing up, I loved Independence Day. That time for me was innocent. Filled with laughter, family and food. Our culture has shifted, but I like to take the time to appreciate my innocent youth. 1990s Americana are my most cherished memories.

Pictured below are my limited batts, Americana.
