Then there was that time that a commentator said that Ronaldinho has just lobbed Seaman in a game

Definitely number 2 and I know I'm doing it in the interview but can't work out a way to stop!

Doh! I always thought Zelda began as a text based game but wasn't. I am pretty useless at computer games but if I go into the cellar, I bet we have quite a few versions of Zelda there going back to the early Gameboy versions. My son was a big fan when younger.

Do you remember this? I'm thinking of porting it to the platform I work on for fun: opensource.microsoft.com/blog/2025/11...

I think I might be one of those lucky people who can't or won't get it. My wife has had it 2 or 3 times and we never isolated from each other (only from other people), slept in the same bed, ate together and so on and I was fine. All the jabs did was give me a sore arm! (Now for Murphys Law!)

Our local chemist just got a big brand new batch of self tests and we picked up a few handfuls along with their excellent 'Duft Kalendar'. Was up at the hospital yesterday and they've started putting out free facemasks again at the entrances.

I was going to try this too, I see they have different flavours as well.

Really never had a problem, no difference to the UK. I think in the USA you can't tell as everyone, regardless of how they feel tend to use pleasantries. I was in a chain Asian in town last night and the young German guy was as helpful and pleasant as could be (it was also heaving)

Macaroni cheese with an English, Scottish or Irish cheddar available at any half decent supermarket in Germany, have never used gouda and don't think I would want to. If you're lucky you might find a Red Leicester which adds a bit of flavor. cost the topping with Parmesan and Panko

My favourite Danish player was Nicklas Bendtner and not just because he played for Arsenal (but then went to Wolfsburg) but was a pretty decent player. Only been to see Werder once, when they played my local team, SV98, back in 2016/17. Really must make the trip to the Weser as I do like Werder

Er, I'm pretty sure he has played for Denmark although it seems not recently, the name rings a bell and not just for Werder

The biggest problem in Germany is deciding when is a castle a castle! You have Schloss, Burg, Festung, Kastell, and so on and each one is slightly different. I believe only a Burg is a castle whereas a Schloss is more of a palace (Palais). Great article which I could have done with a few months ago.
