For what it's worth they recasted Ciri across all localized versions. I am guessing it's to do with the fact they need someone who will be there for the next 3 games in Ciri trilogy.

Don't sleep on The Witcher 1 tunes. Some of my favourites. Vizima Outskirts at Night combined with the ambient game sounds (barking dogs, crying toddlers) is so atmospheric.
