Time for the OCTOPAD OPEN! From 7-11PM on 11/7 @alt254.bsky.social & @chouxsalad.bsky.social will be at Boshi's to scout teams w/ the HEXADECIPAD, a 16-player controller for the NES that turns head-to-head games like Tetris, Tecmo Bowl, & TMNT: Tournament Fighters into team-vs-team tournaments!

for 8 weeks, we've been running a class on Games & Adaptations, discussing intertextuality in its many forms (adaptation, pastiche, parody, and more).

and now, we've made our own adaptation games! join us friday, august 8, for an evening of games in dialog with other works :) hope to see you there!
