I have the even chonkier version of this MSI, the absolutely ridiculous GT75VR. Got it for free because the battery was dying and the charger didn't charge properly. Fixed it up, installed Windows 11 and now it runs beautifully. Played Doom and Witcher 3 on it to test, no issues whatsoever. ✨

Awesome game too. I regularly revisit it on my SNES.

Get some good quality filters and FXs for your DAW. Things like a reverb, de-esser, limiter, etc... give you a basic good sound if the recording is good. I've never gotten to studio level mixing with it but since most people listen on crappy Bluetooth speakers and phone speakers these days it's OK

Funnily enough most wood is antibacterial (moreso than for example plastics) - so after a simple wash and dry it should be fine.

Had to do that when I moved to my current house. The trees were falling down left and right and had been infected with bark beetle. The warzone after they had been cut left me devastated. Fast forward to now and the new trees are all a good size and the garden looks like it's always been like that.
