It is said that the eagle's ability to soar high in the sky was believed to be a direct connection to the heavens and is a symbol of divine protection and spiritual guidance. Having one appear in our field yesterday was a positive sign to me.

Yesterday I ordered this book referred to me, “Parable of the Sower” written by a black woman, Octavia E. Butler, about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline, published in 1993, but set in 2024 following a presidential election.
