Bill Watterson's CALVIN & HOBBES art very rarely comes up for auction but one did...it was the 12th strip ever produced & the 1st to feature Spaceman Spiff. And it was inscribed to artist Jim Borgman & family. Sold yesterday via Heritage Auction for a very spiffy $480,000.

LA got hit with some strong and dangerous winds this morning. I lost power briefly several times. And it’s caused a few fires. This was the scene near Sunset and La Cienega a little while ago (video shared via a friend).
