If it's not the correct crossing do you also have to get off from a horse and walk it through? Or are you just not allowed to cross

Are you telling me that there's like... A specific type of crossing for horses??
Also it's so wild that you all have categories for it, in Poland we just treat all of them the same no matter if you can cross on a bike or not
