Sadly, the Australian duopoly would rather invest in US based submarine building capacity than renewable energy solutions. Madness!
January 3, 2025 at 5:10 AM
The Australian government continues to do the bidding of the Murdoch and News Corp media while being continually kicked in the nuts by them. Absolutely bizarre!

That is only when they’re not covering what Peter Dutton says.

Liberal senator and Zionist David Sharma once again fails to acknowledge the increase in anti-Zionism which he deliberately mislabels as antisemitism. Also fails to acknowledge how Islamophobia was behind the Adelaide Muslin bus fire.

Having Peter Dutton at a press conference is ‘confusing’ and ‘divisive’.

How is the plan to totally ban gambling advertising going?
December 9, 2024 at 11:27 AM
That this government believes the social media ban will get the Murdochs and News Corp off their backs while not implementing a gambling advertising ban shows just how delusional and out of touch they are.

This is appalling, utterly abhorrent reporting from the ABC. Many Jews are anti-Zionist and condemn the genocide being conducted by the Zionist Israeli government. No mention as to whether that applies to this community. It’s likely an anti-Zionist attack, not an anti-Semitism attact.

Might be time to move to Bendigo Bank.
December 3, 2024 at 7:05 AM
Wow, they’re early with this. Surely the destroying Xmas stories should have been first. Is this yet another example of editorial incompetence by Murdoch’s News Corp?

The LNP chased extreme right wing voters and ignored women and climate change. That left a vacuum which the independents successfully targeted. It seems the LNP have failed to learn from this and will continue their decline into irrelevance.
December 1, 2024 at 10:53 PM
About bloody time.
December 1, 2024 at 10:10 PM
Sadly, Kim Williams doesn’t speak the truth about the ABC’s total support of LNP talking points and the Murdoch media agenda. ABC News with its constant, “Peter Dutton says…” rhetoric and click bait lifestyle stories has become a national disgrace.

The government is caving in to the gambling and sports lobby.
They’ve caving in to the main stream media who fear losing gambling ad revenue.
Plus Labor is protecting the gambling venues it owns in NSW and ACT.
This government has no spine.

Seems an industry has been created by governments to fight your FOI requests. Keep up the good work.

Sadly, a woman’s life is only worth a few thoughts and prayers to MAGA people. What percentage of those thoughts and prayers do you think they’ll be prepared to redirect from victims of school shootings to the deaths of these women?
November 26, 2024 at 5:53 AM
This lack of action on gambling ads, and the social media ban, are about Labor protecting the revenue of the main stream media. Meanwhile, the media is thankless and does its best to kick Labor at every opportunity. The government is spineless.
November 25, 2024 at 6:37 AM
How much do the Labor owned gambling venues in the ACT and NSW spend on advertising? Yet again this ShitLite government protects the revenue of the Murdoch media while trying to enhance their revenue by banning kids from social media.
