Mostly strong views on Boro and England
I'd have to disagree, think we've built a squad of two players in every position, don't think now is the time to get a permanent 9, asses in the summer, GK cover short term, Giles to assess him, Iling Jnr we couldn't say no, already a long term plan after Doak goes, in Whittaker, I'm really pleased

He's been our 4th best CB this season, his form has been poor last couple of months, which is why he's stopped getting his game, he fell off a cliff

Exactly, the key thing there is learning and as you say, no signs of it, coming out after the game and saying we need to find a way to break teams down, but has been trying the exact same thing, all season, again and again that isn't working, we are so predictable and one dimensional in posession

I agree in terms of the competition, the amount of changes teams make, etc
But in terms of Boro, think of the last 5 years and 2 of the best memories and moments as a Boro fan are without doubt Spurs and Man U (Throw in Chelsea in league cup) maybe it depends on your league position and opponents

At least we have played them twice, to avoid the inevitably

Isak, Jesus, Pedro
Allows you Salah, Palmer, Trent, Gabriel, then the likes of Gordon, Diaz, Timber

He will go straight back out, hardly played for Orient, he needs games

Isn't he coming back to find a new club for him?

Literally the easiest decision of all time

Worst -8 I've ever seen, looked terrible before, during and after, he's weakened his side bar Isak

Mid-table clash? Bournemouth are 5th, such disrespect
December 22, 2024 at 4:03 PM
Just seems like they have mostly changed a fair few green fixtures to grey, which if you look at teams fixtures it doesn't look like many have great fixtures runs now, but i think it's because so few are now green, not a fan of the move

Not sure there is much between Flekken or Fabianski this week, don't expect either to keep a clean sheet, but Iwobi has the better fixture of him and Wood, not loads in it though, probably best to not look at it as a one week move though, also look ahead

Bar Isak and Jackson, which you could only really have one, suddenly there seems no obvious options at all, slim pickings
December 15, 2024 at 4:57 PM
Thought exactly the same, all the Portuguese players being best best, your enemies for the day, fuck the niceties
December 15, 2024 at 4:55 PM
Any examples of big game players, as historically the likes of Palmer and Haaland score low against the bigger teams, which is understandable

You went against your Bowen shout, easy fixtures brings points

Mad Stockton playing an ex prem team
December 7, 2024 at 7:03 PM
Wouldn't the argument be, that if they are not getting the ball in them positions, then it's not really data that is relevant?
December 6, 2024 at 12:31 PM
By then, our 2nd string could be made up of the likes of Brynn, Djiksteel, Fry, Lenihan or Clarke, Howson, Barlaser, Jones, Forss, Gilbert, Hamilton
December 2, 2024 at 10:22 PM
No chance we put a full first team out, it was almost a 3rd team in the league cup, fully expect a 2nd string 11, which may well be good enough
