99% interviews with Carrick are pointless. He never says anything informative, interesting or even accurate. 4 weeks ago said Morris back on the grass & could be available within 3 weeks. Yesterday he said he should be joining us in trg next week. Might as well as ask ground staff on Injury updates

Sadly if Tommy is not training fully with the first team this month they have to pull his registration and fill the place in the squad to help with the push to the end of the season. Big loss as he was a very steadying and influential player.

It won’t be happening this season. He’s had 3 attempts so evidence suggests no.

I think it’s best Lath is sold as he just doesn’t look connected anymore, and apart from the goal on Saturday has hardly touched the ball in recent games. Having said that it doesn’t look like West Ham have the money and with Ipswich likely to go down, what’s the point. More likely to stay now.

I can confirm he’s still in the north east. My lad got a photo with him in the metro centre earlier. 😂

Clean sheet, and for the first time really, Carrick acknowledging that this is a priority. This shift in mentality is very significant.

Dieng, Forss, Howson, Ayling, Conway should all be back within the next 1-3 weeks. Smith and Lenihan within 3-6 weeks.

It was entirely predictable at 0-3 Sheff Wed were going to have to do something different at half-time so Carrick should have anticipated that and went 4-5-1 for the first 15mins of 2nd half to nullify the game and kill it off. He always gets outdone tactically within games.

Maybe. Let’s see how the next 6 months pan out and he can perform consistently in that period. That’s been his problem.

No. Name a single Boro player who on their second period at the club was better than the first in the last 50 years? It just never works out.

If you keep being a nearly team your best assets get picked off every summer and you just keep treading water. 4-2-3-1 doesn’t work with the players we’ve got. We need to strengthen in Jan (GK, LB, CM) or try something else. Otherwise Carrick, Lath, Azaz, Morris, RVB, prob leave and we start again.
