❌👑 Hang in there - it’ll probably get better eventually. I hope.
There’s always a way to make it OK in MAGA-land!

DOJ policy protects him from prosecution for anything while in office. The SCOTUS immunity thing prevents prosecution for any “official acts” forever. This conduct is in no way “official acts”, so he could be prosecuted when out of office, either removed through impeachment or at end of term.

Add three of them up and they’re MAGA-math 36…

Revision 1 - Speaker Mikey says there will be a vote next week. Either a) he expects one or more of the discharge petitioners to vote no, or Thune is going to tank it in the the Senate. And remember, Trump can veto it, too. Then they’d need 2/3 in both Senate and House to override. Good luck…

I may be subscribed to some block lists you aren’t - but it’s hard to believe Jr would get any traction. And why he would even want to - by the time this four-year grift is over, he’s not going to need the hassle at all.

The suspense is killing me…

Except the vote isn’t until next month so they seem to have weeks to figure out a way to stop it.

He can always lob a few rolls of Trump-monogrammed paper towels into the crowd at the end of his ramble…

They’re tanned, rested, and ready!

Good to see that he’s focusing on the big, important issues. Has he gotten around to addressing the predominance of morons in the Cabinet yet?

More like 1933, but he and Trump are working on the rest.

Longer than any of GER marriages. Which isn’t really a shock…😳

It was never going to be a short shutdown. If the Dems didn’t have the balls to stick with it, they shouldn’t have bothered. That tool is now trashed for the rest of Trump’s term: nobody will take shutdown threats seriously. Why should they when the Dems have shown they’re going to give up anyway?
November 12, 2025 at 11:25 AM
It had to end sometime - best after Republicans heard loud and clear from their constituents and major donors that they needed to start working on a deal. Instead, we have a blowout election and serious pressure coming from aviation disruptions and ACA bills coming out - so the Dems decide to cave.

That’s basically Trump’s assertion, although I think anybody claiming that his speech was anything “calming” is smoking something.
November 12, 2025 at 11:09 AM
He works in the oil industry and does excellent explainers about how THAT operates. He did some great ones during the campaign about why Trump’s “I’ll cut energy prices in HALF!” claims were complete BS, and “drill baby drill” was not going to happen.
November 12, 2025 at 10:55 AM
It’s OK - he’s going to use the leftover money to pay down the deficit. Or something.
November 12, 2025 at 3:09 AM
Yeah, he changed the course of America, all right…

1. Create problem.

2. Claim to have solved problem, but actually make problem worse.

3. Bask in Republican accolades.

Q: How many Trump supporters does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: None. Trump just announces that it’s fixed, and his cult sits in the dark and applauds.

If Trump is making assurances about increased controller staffing, count on reduced controller staffing.
