From what I understand, not only will you have to show proof of citizenship to register to vote, but also to actually vote. And, our state-issued Real ID driver's licenses are NOT proof of citizenship! I have been trying to get a straight yes or no from my congressional actors, but so far, nothing!

It should be called "Save Republicans" Act, because that's exactly what it is intended to do! To prevent anyone that they THINK just might vote against them from voting at all. It definitely is a full-scale attack on our right to vote!

I'm in SD where the same thing happened, without my permission. I'm also a 72-year-old Democrat and am very vocal about my total disgust for Donald Trump.

I must be missing something important that everyone but me knows . . . I'm pretty sure the House of Representatives knew that there was a possibility of a(nother) government shutdown today, so why were they not at work to vote????

This video affected me so much more so than any others I have seen. I'm not sure why, but I can't stop crying. Maybe because he looks to be around the same age as my grandsons? Or because he is scared and the ICE Agent has no qualms whatsoever chasing him and handcuffing him face down in the snow?

I sent emails to all three of our Congressional members from South Dakota (all Republicans), begging them to STOP HIM, but haven't received responses. Honestly, I think they are tired of seeing my name and just delete my emails. I'm talking about YOU John Thune, Mike Rounds and Dusty Johnson!!!

I'm totally naive when it comes to Jews and Palestinians beliefs and history (I live in SD in the US), but what I DO know is that for all my life it seems that Israel has been in a conflict with one country or another; I don't understand why the US has to defend them over and over?
