I was JUST talking about this with my therapist; seeing the religious fervor with which 47 is regarded by his followers is very triggering for someone raised in a cult.

This!! I've been able to get my state representatives to sign onto things once I bring it to their attention. Developing a relationship with state and local officials is so important.
