@paninid @billseitz in fact you can download to your camera roll and it will detect the encoding on iOS

(The more usual use case is in person of course)

@billseitz all the old protocols - vCard, vCal etc - just work on mobile.

Scanning this will prompt to add my contact to your local store.

Like with most things, it “just works” on iOS vs many other variables on Android.
