They could have let it ride - and the Biden admin made clear they wouldn't enforce the law. But what did ByteDance do? When you open TikTok now you get this message: Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now. We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please recall Congress voted on a bipartisan basis to ban TikTok because soooo many serious people explain it poses a legitimate national security threat. psources no years ada bollaring alerty the same reason. Recall Trump originated the idea of banning the app. Anyway, now Trump can swoop in and "restore" TikTok.
