I have been getting these scam traffic violation notices for a while, texted to my phone. We are so deep in a scam economy. And it must be working, because it persists.

According to our records, payment for this violation has not been received. In accordance with Ohio Code Title 9, Motor Vehicles, Section 9-18-2-7, please be advised that if payment is not submitted in full by November 4, 2025, the following actions will be initiated: 1. The violation will be officially recorded with the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. 2. Your vehicle registration will be revoked, effective November 6, 2025. 3. Your driver's license will be suspended for a minimum of 30 days. 4. The outstanding debt will be referred to a collections agency, with an additional collection fee of up to 35%. 5. Legal proceedings may be initiated, and your credit will be adversely impacted.
