Also the gap between words of support and US-piloted attack aircraft is huge and only counting the latter extreme edge of the bell curve as in support of a coup doesn’t feel right to me.

Well sure, it’s not a piece of paper on CIA letterhead stating we sure did great sponsoring that coup. But a former National Security Advisor saying yeah I planned multiple coups is gotta count for something.

The CIA did ferment uprisings in the past, but the agency of today is not (currently) doing that
