Middle aged and still trying to figure out my sexuality. I get gender fluid in bed but not in daily life somehow— been that way since puberty. Otherwise, I never really felt like I fit in with dudes but I always chalked that up to nerdiness.

I keep thinking about a story idea: a futuristic non-profit which fixed decommissioned combat cyborgs and attempts to reintegrate them into human life. I think this fascinates me because I am not neurotypical and this is how I felt trying to fit in.

To me there is something sad and tragic about Seven of Nine’s forced deassimilation and attempts to fit in. Maybe I identify with stories like that because of my experiences being made to fit in and othered as an ADHDer.

One kink I’d like to understand better is the full-robot kink. Somehow having the being be a cyborg instead of fully robotic helps ground it for me, and I think about the transformation, shock/wonder, how it feels, etc.
