This goes for the “politics don’t affect my life” crew who stayed home, too! They’re about to find out how wrong they were.

Sometimes I make a separate “scraps” doc where I try out certain scenes or rewrites. That way you can keep your current draft as-is, but you have a better idea of how the reworked character fits into your story now and/or you can see if you even like the change.

I am irrationally depressed about this. Ugh.
