I feel like this about Kill Bill. It's not a real ending but who watches Kill Bill 2 in 2025? Just watch the first one again

That is not what elitism is. That's not what elites are. And even what you describes would only work if you live in some strange utopia that is at least close to bordering on meritocracy. And that doesn't exist. Not even close. It's literally impossible in anything that's remotely capitalist.

There is no way that anybody who is not actually and fundamentally against all the fascist stuff can be allowed to be the dem nominee. The party needs to fundamentally change and not by moving massively to the right.
Newsom should be a republican.

For the most part that's not "humans" but the same rich people

I didn't know "fairy" was American, I thought fae was just fantasy stuff :D
November 20, 2025 at 2:32 PM
Like I know fae get used as their own fantasy race but come on, it's just fairies but the word wasn't cool enough for you
November 20, 2025 at 11:49 AM
As a German, this is very funny because "fae" is obviously just a more fantasy-ish spelling of "fee" which just means fairy in German (and probably more relevant for English, in French too).
So this is like "is magick" open source?

November 20, 2025 at 12:57 AM

If Dawkins is buddies with a lot of people (Krauss, Pinker, etc) who were buddies with Epstein, and also has a wife 40 years younger than himself entirely unrelatedly, that would be quite the coincidence, IMO

Maybe I just don't like Santana but this has worked surprisingly well when I showed it to people (and only like half of them spoke German)

Invaluable is supposed to mean so precious you can't put a price tag on it. The "in-" is an actual negation, this isn't like "inflammable" stuff where the "in-" just comes from "in" as in "in flames" (via French I think)

English has different ways of creating the same confusing bs.

The practical reason is that our world is set up to work well for people. So acting and doing human stuff would be easier than having to build robot-specific environments like assembly lines.

The actual reason is investors are stupid and this makes intuitive sense and seems cool.

It's pretty hard to get disbarred but this should do it, shouldn't it?

Aldi is a German chain but for some reason they go by Hofer in Austria and Slovenia. Which is crazy bc their logo is still the same stylized A.
