It's even dumber when you realize they have specific score-models for things exactly like this - (credit company A) Auto, (credit company B) Retail. And if you go without a car loan for years, it actually gets even worse.

There's barely a choice at all. If the kid is just "casually" in Martha's Vineyard, it stands to reason that Bowser has moooore than enough resources to figure out an alternative.
Unless her child is out there to meet a specialist surgeon or some other niche case, there's no defending this.
