Thank you!! Hopefully it takes root and grows the way the its predecessors had.

I think Valhalla also suffered from hitting the hype on the head ten seconds after someone else did it perfectly. God of War pumped new like into the Viking lust. To do anything less epic would always be risky

I thought Valhalla would be my top entry, but I like Odyssey and Origins marginally more

Me neither. I don’t mind the size, but I don’t want to feel like I need to be on a horse just to be making solid use of time. There’s no getting around the shrub-zone that is the mountains though.

I still think there’s a slim chance for me. I didn’t really like Ronin until even further than this.

My pleasure! Connections like you are what gave life to this platform for me, beautiful 🫂😘

Been following you longer than many on here and have zero plans to stop unless requested 😇

I’m similar though to you though. I’m not one to unfollow without very solid cause. Not one for needless confrontation, and the nazi types I would unfollow I generally never follow to begin with.

Same boat ultimately though. I’ve almost beaten my way through Settsu, and have very few attachments to the game.

I just feel like I’m always busy with something forgettable. Too underpowered to do whatever I want, but overpowered for where the game wants me to be.

It is a pretty enough game, though the mountain sides are all pretty much dead zone.

It doesn’t have the mechanics that made Rise of the Ronin fun, or the well rounded package that won people over with Tsushima.

If AC hadn’t trailed after a few decent historical Japanese games, that coulda helped

I’m just kinda reflecting/talking into space.

Anyway. Enough of that.

I don’t fully know what I’d tethered myself to weather some of the waves I’ve had come my way, but whatever it was, I feel like that line has gone slack.

If drifting didn’t rob one of so much agency, it wouldn’t be all that bad, but the alternative options aren’t all that clear.
