I really fucking hate seeing how those of us in the #disabled community are treated like afterthoughts. "Oh yeah, this is going to effect our third class citizens, -I mean the crippies, uhhh what I meant was the disabled community, -too."

I'm trying so hard to not just give up. I feel like I keep nose diving into the deep end of a pool and finding out it was drained on my way down. Get up, dive deeper.

I'm not doing well emotionally. Or financially. It's why I've been away. These callous assholes in orange face paint and more money and ketamine than the entire West Coast US population are trying to destroy my only source of income in the form of my disability right when my car's getting worse.

I've been a long time away. Kind of all of social media, really. Just needed time to focus on other things. Still am. I'm working on a new commission for someone and was told by another possible customer that I WAY under charge for my work but hey, I need the money, so...yeah, I take what I can get

Kendrick Lamars' concert was amazing! I hear there was a football game that he allowed to happen, too? I don't know. He said "Turn the TV off" so I did. So many messages. I think we all needed a refreshing energy. Keep fighting.

We also finally got around to getting another one finished up for our son. A slightly late Christmas gift. He plays #GenshinImpact and his favorite character is #Furina so he asked me to #woodburn her and my wife to paint it.

Just finished up this commission for someone who worked on the Blackhawk and Comanche helicopters during his service time with the Army! I'm extremely proud of this piece, it took me close to 50 hours to complete and nearly every technique that I know how to do. Customer was extremely happy with it

I have been away for a while but I'm here. The car is back running. Turns out, that issue was a cracked battery terminal so it was an easy fix. The other 67,000,564,332 problems? Notsomuch lol. I'm just trying to keep it going as long as possible while I get something figured out.

I wanted to update that I did manage to get the car back running, the battery terminal was split completely through. I replaced both of them. The negative cable is super tight, zero slack. I'll probably need to replace it down the line. Just gotta keep it going for now & oil in it. That leak is bad!

Put about 4 or 5 hours in to this (I think?) yesterday! Got it lined, got distracted, got the stippling done, and got distracted again. I got the last bit of etching done, as well (not shown). This will cover every technique that I know how to do in one piece. I'm glad it's going to a veteran.
