Husband ‘graduated’ from (had his last appointment with) post op speech therapy today. While he doesn’t have the voice he did before, he has noticeably improved, so we’re raising a toast to that (and his speech therapists) with this Figroni (a Negroni made with Fig Leaf gin). It’s good!

Husband ‘graduated’ from (had his last appointment with) post op speech therapy today. While he doesn’t have the voice he did before, he has noticeably improved, so we’re raising a toast to that (and his speech therapists) with this Figroni (a Negroni made with Fig Leaf gin). It’s good!
And does Income Tax taste nice? It does do lots of good I suppose. Cheers anyway, I have a Normandie 75 (replaced gin and champagne with calvados and sparkling cider), from my new cocktail book. #ConfinedCocktails

Just back from a very interesting talk by Andrew Graham-Dixon on his new interpretation of Vermeer, which I like. Now drinking this Negrino (Sloe gin, fino sherry, gentian liqueur) which I also like.
