I wrote about protesting Trump 2.0, and why it has proven so hard.
Why It’s So Hard to Protest Trump 2.0
Demonstrations have gotten smaller and more dispersed in Trump’s second term. Is that a bad thing?

Fall down go boom today.
Just have a carpet burn on my knee; I'm just going to have to accept that I'm wobbly for a while. Blergh.

Two days post-surgey, and it's weird. There are various lumps and bumps and cuts (the great big bundle of wire under my scalp, for starters) are difficult. I have a low-grade headache, and my gods I'm exhausted. Ugh.

Gods save me from fantasy novels that find new and painfully awkward ways to misspell "magic". Trying to look "other" by swapping out every other I for a Y doesn't help, either. I put up with that nonsense thirty years ago (AOL and the Red Dragon Inn, sigh).

China, Russia and India have dispatched emergency teams and supplies to earthquake-ravaged Myanmar. So have Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. The U.S., the richest country in the world and once its most generous provider of foreign aid, has sent nothing.
Trump’s U.S.A.I.D. Cuts Hobble Earthquake Response in Myanmar
While China, Russia and other nations have rushed emergency response teams to the devastated country, the U.S., once a leader in foreign aid, has been slow to act.
