I found his laugh very forced, not sincere at all. It was almost as if he had rehearsed his reaction. I'm pretty sure he liked genuinely Vox.

Nobody pointed out the fact that, segregation in the 1920's and all that jazz, a sign with "No xxx allowed" would not sit very well with Alastor, and would bring back rather unpleasant memories.

The saddest part is that, in my opinion, he was precisely counting on it. He KNEW they would not come to save him, thus he could do his whole "tearing the Vees apart" and "getting free from Rosie" plan. The fact is, plain and simple, that nobody even likes him there, except Niffty, but it's Niffty.

Strangely enough, I think that Pentious would have noticed something was wrong with Alastor, and would have been pretty upset by him being kidnapped.

Especially when we see that being nearly sliced in two by Adam left him buttoned up to the neck...

I feel there's something very unhinged and unnatural in the way Alastor rejects Vox. He's pushing him away with all his might, with so harsh words that he knows Vox won't ask again. I would not be surprised that he doesn't want Vox to get involved with Rosie, perhaps to protect him.

I'm pretty sure that Vincent took the moniker "Vox" because it was the one he thought about to give to Alastor. Much more suitable for a radioman, no ?

I don't quite understand why they did, though... He was so good-looking with it !

Every fucking time I read a fanfic where Rosie was his best friend, almost ready to fight Lucifer or Lilith or whoever for his sake, I was sighing thinking of the shock and the disappointment of all those writers today.

Yes, Al would have invoked a demon already well knwon in the demology,in grimoires of black magic, not the mayor of Cannibal Town who he could not be aware of. So, my guess goes to Lilith. The woman we see in Heaven is either a kind of clone, or she can somehow be in two places at the same time.

Seems that nobody else tries to contact her, at least on this phone...

Don't they see the monocle ? Very few characters have red on red eyes, too...
